NODE + ROBOTICS = FUN
July 30th is “International Nodebots Day,” celebrating the use of the node.js programming platform and the ability to write code for all sorts of hardware projects using it. We’re putting on a FREE day of fun with programming and hardware hacking.
HOW THIS WORKS
You bring one or more children and a laptop or Chromebook for each child (sorry, no loaners this session) and you’ll spend the day on premises with them.
There will be four rooms. Each room will have a different or hardware or software project that runs about an hour. Each child will get to do all 4 projects if they arrive on time. Checkin begins at 9:15. We will start promptly at 10, so do your best to arrive by 9:45.
We will provide the hardware for the projects (one kit per table of 4-5 kids). Do not bring your arduino or other robotics kit.
BRING A LUNCH!!! We will break for lunch from 12:10 – 1:10. Plan to bring a sack lunch or order lunch online (Jimmy John’s delivers to this building). We will not be providing lunch for you.
