ERMAHGERD!! TRCKRTS!
Tickets for the 2d Game Art Workshop are available now. We’ll be designing digital dog treats (session 1), a digital dog (session 2), and then pulling it all together in a simple game (session 3).
This is a 3-part workshop, taking place on June 11, June 25, and July 9 at the same time and place as regular Dojo. It’ll just take over one of the classrooms. Though the ticket listing only lists the first date, it’s good for all three. Get your free tickets now.
For all other June 11 tickets (Scratch, Beginners, etc), get those here.
Military Expedition
We’re going to the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Library to do an Hour of Code for 20-25 of the children of the soldiers stationed there. This is scheduled on Saturday, July 23rd. We’ll likely meet up at Wainwright and then carpool down in one or two cars (we only need 5 people and it’s easiest if we only bring one car onto the base itself). Non-citizens are welcome, but we will need to provide them with some personal information for security clearances in early July.
Mail Greg if you’d like to volunteer.
Lego Anyone?
Pacific Science Center has an awesome new Lego exhibit open and we thought it would be really fun to do a group caravan over to PSC after Dojo on either June 25th or July 9th. To help pick the date, we’ve set up a Doodle poll.
If you’d like to go, just visit the Doodle poll and select the date(s) you can go. If you can only go on one date, just pick that one. If you can go on either, pick them both. We’ll close the poll and announce the date next week.
