Seattle CoderDojo News – February 16

Posted on February 16, 2015February 16, 2015 by Greg Bulmash

Tickets for February 28

We’re ticketing for the February 28th Dojo now.

Kid seats are “sold out” (I put that in quotes, since they’re free). We can use more volunteers, though. I know that some of our volunteers either forget to sign up, remember (or decide) last minute. This is a reminder.

Prepare for Pi Day

We will be having our regular Dojo on the Westside on March 14th, but we will start early at 9:56, so the start time is 3/14/15 9:56.

Those tickets will become available on March 2.

We’re open to ideas on ways to celebrate Pi Day. If some parents wanted to volunteer to bring pies (and paper plates and serving implements and maybe some juiceboxes to wash it down), I doubt any of the kids would complain.

We’ll also open ticketing for the special Pi Day event, hacking around with the Raspberry Pi at CenturyLink’s offices in Bellevue on March 2.

THIS WILL HAVE MUCH FEWER SEATS. There are 50 seats total, and 20 have been reserved for children of CenturyLink Employees. So we will only have 30 spots open up for that and SEATS WILL GO FAST.
