Tickets for May 2 and Android Apps Workshop
The tickets for the Android Apps with JavaScript workshop are also available.
Sign up for the Android Apps with JavaScript workshop.
We are currently offering both on-site and remote tickets.
A NOTE ABOUT REMOTE STUDENTS
The remote tickets are for kids who want to watch **live** and be able to get help **live** during the actual workshop. If you just plan to watch online at another time, don’t sign up for a remote ticket. We’ll post the links to the archived streams on YouTube afterward.
A question for our Amazon or Google employees
Do any of you know a developer evangelist/advocate for the Amazon App Store or Google Play Store? We’d love to have someone come talk to the Android Apps workshop kids about how their app stores work on May 30th (last session).
New question on order form: Gender
You’ll notice when you order tickets for the May 2nd Dojo or sign up for the Android Apps workshop, we’ll now ask for the child’s gender. This is so we know how well we’re doing in our attempts to be more inclusive. This is only used in the aggregate and you can “decline to state,” but we hope you’ll answer and help us get better data on attendance.
Scratch Day is May 9th
May 9th is International Scratch Day and the day before Mothers Day. Do you have a cool idea for a Scratch project that shows off a neat Scratch feature and/or would make a really cool way to tell Mom how much she’s loved? Let us know your ideas.
Summer Schedule starts May 30
We’ll be off for the Memorial Day weekend on May 23, then we’ll go to our “every other week” Summer schedule. That’s Dojos on May 30, June 14, June 28, July 11, July 25, August 8, August 22, and then two weekends off before we go weekly again from September 12 through November 21.
