Seattle Coder Dojo News – February 9

Posted on February 9, 2015February 10, 2015 by Greg Bulmash

NO DOJO SATURDAY (2/14)

Because most schools will be off for Mid-winter break, we’re off for a short break ourselves.

Tickets for February 21

Tickets are now available for February 21st. Get your free tickets here.

Survey coming next week

Make sure you watch for next week’s newsletter. We’re going to have a survey to get an idea of where kids’ skill levels are and what is interesting them so we can better develop curriculum. The mentors are working on the survey this week. We’ll try to keep it under 10 minutes to take it.

Got a teen game developer?

This year, the Washington Interactive Network has added a youth category (teens 13-18) for their Seattle Indie Game Competition. If your child will be 13 by April 15th and is working on a game, check out the details on the competition.

You do not need a working demo of your game to enter. Read the details on what you need to submit and the judging criteria.
